Stain is here to prove that art can easily be attained. Bringing colour to your life and completing your walls with stories to tell.
HISTORY
As it appears on many of the prints, the collection have been edited and published by Galleri GKM,
The gallery was founded 1967 by Siwert Bergström whose creativity and ambitions clearly had no limits. Early on he explored new grounds as he jumped on a train with France in sight, struggling to learn the colors in this new language.

His presence in the international art metropol which is Paris was the beginning of several friendships, collaborations with artists and publishings.
Not only does Galleri GKM’s portfolio consist of Original art works which were presented during countless exhibitions. Aswell, Siwert printed several editions of graphics and connected artists and poets to publish art books.

Siwert Bergströms contribution didn't go unnoticed, in 1992 he had the honor to receive France's finest culture award, Chevalier des Art et des Lettres from president Mitterand's himself. On the day of the ceremony Siwert was stuck in traffic, he stopped a passing police motorcycle, showed the invitation and was then escorted with sirens to the Elyssépalace.
The gallery has participated in many art fairs over the years such as FIAC, for these happenings limited posters were made so that admirers of the original painting could bring something to their home as well.
Siwerts' passion for the gallery that was his life’s work will continue by his two sons Thomas and Karl-Johan who will preserve his contribution to the art world with the same spirit. These posters are part of that legacy, Stain Collection are proud to make these posters available again through a collaboration with Galleri GKM.
